Style:

Replacing the 12 o'clock index is the ever present Luminox logo alongside Bear's own logo at the 4 o'clock position. At the very bottom of the dial is a simplistic date window to help you keep on track daily. The dial showcases a 12 and 24 hour display to suit the needs of both parties and allows you to communicate with your fellow compratiots. On top of the chapter ring is the morse code sequence for SOS, save our souls. This can be seen at the 11 o'clock position when in dire needs. The black and orange colour scheme comes back to the colour of Luminox and Bear Grylls, with Luminox being well known for their black out models and Bear's logo being orange.

Functions:

All Luminox watches feature a self-powered illumination system employing tiny micro gas light sources. This unique Swiss technology guarantees unsurpassed ability to read the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for up to 25 years. Each watch has micro gas lights mounted on the hands, dial and, when necessary, also on the bezel. The Luminox x Bear Grylls Survival Master Mens Watch XB.3740 boasts unique technology that does not depend on an external light source to 'charge' fluorescent paint on the dial or hands in order to glow, nor do Luminox watches require the push of a button to light up as do watches with elctroluminescene. All watches in the MASTER series feature two chronographs within the CARBONOX case. These chronographs are used to measure time seperately just like a stopwatch, perfect for a run in the park or a highly classified mission. Around the bezel are degree markers which can set you on whatever path you may choose in life. Moreover, a small compass feature which is detachable from the strap can be used incase you ever get lost.
 
This watch has a water resistance of 300 metres, making it suitable for diving.
